Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
Overview
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, released in 2016, continues the 5D tradition of versatile, full-frame performance in a relatively compact body. With significant improvements in resolution (30.4 megapixels at 6720 × 4480 resolution), autofocus, and video capabilities over its predecessor, it proved popular with wedding photographers, photojournalists, and serious enthusiasts. Its Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology also made it much more effective for video work compared to previous 5D models. The camera introduced several innovative features including time-lapse movie functionality and built-in GPS for location tagging. Its high-resolution sensor coupled with the powerful DIGIC 6+ processor delivers excellent dynamic range and low-light performance, while the touchscreen interface provides intuitive control.
